The accelerated water cycle is leading to unprecedented erosion of topsoil, climate extremes and water shortages.
We are currently farming in a man-made desert.
90% of arable land in Europe holds less than 5kg of carbon per m2, BOKU.
We lack the trees, forests, hedges and windbreaks that help to slow down and stabilize natural cycles.

Water
Our most precious and important resource
In a world where access to clean water is becoming increasingly scarce, it is crucial to use this precious element responsibly.
Keyline Design is the best way to efficiently retain, store and distribute water on our land to safeguard and even increase our harvests and yields.
Keyline design is a method known since the 1950s that aims to distribute precipitation efficiently and evenly across the terrain. For this purpose, the intersections in the landscape (transitions from convex to concave = key points, key lines) are used to determine the optimum water flow, if possible along the contour lines.
Water flow rules according to Dipl. cert. Perm. Christoff Schneider ©:
- If possible, start water storage at the
highest point.
- Keep water on the land for as long as possible
- How to get rid of too much water
- Plan for extremes
- . . . & more
Keyline-Design
A solution for regenerative agriculture
The Solution, Keyline-Design
A solution for regenerative agriculture
Only through the integration of large-scale keyline systems, afforestation with mixed forest & above all, the regenerative conversion of our agriculture to perennial crops with syntropic agroforestry systems, without and with livestock (silver pasture), as well as forest garden systems, can transform the soil & landscape to store large amounts of precipitation.
The groundwater level will be stabilized, weather extremes will be buffered, erosion can be stopped. The only wy to establish a sustainable, oil-independent, mineral fertilizer-free agriculture. ©
